Inventory & Guns
I recently added the framework for items, inventories and guns. It was a lot more work than I expected. I literally spent the entire day yesterday from when I woke up to when I went to bed, working on getting the inventory system to it’s current state. It still needs a little work but most of it is working now.
Adding guns went pretty smoothly. The guns are a subclass of items which hold rate of fire, damage, reload speed, accuracy, clip size, gun type, etc.
Pistols:
- 1 bullet per shot
- semi-auto
- greatly increased damage for head-shots
Assault Rifles:
- 1 bullet per shot
- automatic
- moderately increased damage for head-shots
Shotguns:
- multiple bullets per shot
- semi-auto
- low increase of damage for head-shots
Sniper Rifles: (not implemented yet)
- 1 bullet per shot
- semi-auto
- greatly increased damage for head-shots
- bullet penetration
All the other stats vary depending on the gun.
